Clinical Science have generously sponsored a Young Research Worker's Prize, which was won by Dr Vinoj George (School of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences, University of Surrey, Guildford): 'THE ROLE OF REACTIVE OXYGEN SPECIES AND NADPH OXIDASE IN ENDOTHELIAL CELL CYCLE REGULATION.'
The BSCR Prize was won by Dr Mahregen Movassagh (Centre for Clinical Investigation, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, University of Cambridge): 'CARDIAC DIFFERENTIATION IN XENOPUS REQUIRES THE CDK-INHIBITOR, p27Xic1.'
