Clinical Science have generously sponsored a Young Research Worker's Prize, which was won by Paul Armstrong (Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry). 'Linear Relationship Between Platelet Aggregation And Thromboxane A2 Production.'

The BSCR Prize was won by Kirsten Riches (Division of Cardiovascular and Neuronal Remodelling, University of Leeds). 'Hypoxia Inhibits MMP-2 Activation and Invasion in Human Cardiac Myofibroblasts.'
