Programme: The programme (downloadable here) consisted of state-of-the-art presentations by leaders in the field, including Hector Garcia (Rotterdam), Allard van der Wal (Amsterdam), Florian Bea (Heidelberg), Erik Biessen (Maastricht), Rob Krams (London), Isabelle Gorenne (Cambridge), Allen Burke (Gaithersburg), Andreas König (Munich), Gary Coulton (London) and Gilbert Thompson (London), and also a number of Free Communications selected from submitted abstracts.
Clinical Science have generously sponsored a Young Research Worker's Prize, which was won by Anna Pepe (King's College, London). 'NRF3 Mediates Stem Cell Differentiation into Smooth Muscle Cells Through Increased ROS Generation and PLA2G7 Production.'

The BSCR Prize was won by Ayman Al Haj Zen (University of Bristol). 'Inactivation of EphB2 Gene Promotes Pathogenesis of Saccular Aneurysms in ApoE Knockout Mice.'
